TRIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS & RESULTS!...
2010 trial season has begun and the terriers are looking forward to some fun in the sun! Here is a list of a few trials being held in the western region of the United States that should be lots of fun! This list is not all inclusive, please visit the JRTCA for more trial listings. Please try to attend trials in your area, these clubs and individuals put so much of their time & love into these events so that we as terrier owners can enjoy some fun with our dogs, friends, and maybe even gain a ribbon or two, but overall to have a place to gather and share a common interest...our terriers! So please support them by your attendance, participation, volunteering, donating, or all the above.
APRIL 2010:
The SCJRTC Spring Fox Frolic I & II trials were a tremendous success, the SCJRTC did an excellent job! Special thanks to all the volunteers and club members that helped to make this trial the success it was...we & our terriers appreciate you.

MAY 2010:
May 29 & 30 is the Terror in the Pines Trial in Flagstaff, AZ at the Flagstaff Equestrian Center. This is a new trial so let's support them with a great turnout! Lots of fun to be had and Flagstaff in May is beautiful! Not a far drive for the SoCal folks so be sure to attend & support our JRTCA sanctioned events helping to ensure terrier fun for years to come.
JULY 2010:
July 3 & 4 in beautiful Gunnison, CO is the Gunnison Grand Western Trial. This is a very well run and fun trial, and there are fireworks too! And a personal favorite for us here at Promised Land. Wonderful setting with a real race track for racing, covered area for go-to-ground, and an enclosed facility for conformation. For more info see Gunnison Grand.
AUGUST 2010:
The weekend of Aug 14 & 15 there is the Rainier Hunt Trial held in Everson, WA. Although we have never been to this trial we hope to this year, as we have heard it's a great time for all. For more info see Rainier Hunt
SEPTEMBER 2010:
The Cowboy Classic Trial held in Douglas, WY on September 4 & 5 is another western region trial for 2010. This is another we have not yet had the pleasure of attending but hope to do so this year, as we have heard many great things about this trial, well run, & lots of terrier fun!
OCTOBER 2010:
The wrap up trial of the year for us is another one of our favorites, the Diggin' West Challenge, held each year at the Madera Fair Grounds in Madera, CA. This years event will be Oct. 9 & 10. This is a don't miss event, tons of terrier fun, easy to get to, camping on site, and great people! For more info see Diggin' West

Promised Land's Ivan has been on his own "photo shoot" out and about in California, from Death Valley, to the Mountains, to the Drive-In, to the Beach, isn't he just the cutest lil' traveler!
We also received some very nice pictures of Java, he's such a happy boy, and look at that form...wow! Look out George!
We were happy to receive some new pictures of Promised Land's Maggie...we hope you enjoy them as much as we did, Maggie is a very pretty terrier and her big brother Wrangler is one handsome guy!
